Honeywell Fresh Air Economizers with integrated demand-control ventilation systems are compatible with most individually packaged rooftop or built-up air handling units.
Using sensors and actuators, Honeywell's Solid State Economizer Logic Modules determine whether Free-Cooling can be used by bringing in outdoor air instead of energizing a compressor. Some Logic Modules, control based upon DCV, using a CO2 sensor.
In a basic Economizer System, either an outdoor temp (C7650) or an enthalpy sensor (C7400) will be needed. For mixed or discharge air, the C7046 or the C7150 can be used. In cases where DCV is used, either the C7232 or The C7632 CO2 Sensors can be used.
25 lb-in. spring return, foot-mounted damper actuators provide two-position, three-position, floating or modulating control of economizer systems and ventilation dampers in commercial HVAC equipment. These damper motors are used with the JADE fresh air economizer system for demand control ventilation (DCV), free cooling and to improve Indoor Air Quality (IAQ).
