Honeywell has converted our damper part numbers based on a new numbering methodology.
Damper prices have not changed.
This change only affects commercial rectangular dampers:
· D640 is now a D3.
· D642 is now a D2.
How the New Product Number System Will Affect You
If you order using the same product numbers/process as in the past, Honeywell will conduct the number conversion and enter the product order using the new product number in the Honeywell system. You will order dampers using the product numbers you are familiar with: D640 and D642. When Honeyell receives your order, those numbers will be entered into our system as D3 and D2, respectively. When you receive your invoice and shipping documentation, it will reflect the new product number. The product shipped to you is the same—only the product number is different.
How to place an order
Please continue to use the same method to send in your orders (fax, phone).
Option A – Damper Pricing Tool
The updated Damper Pricing Tool is available for your use with the new product numbers.
Upon completion of the tool please fax your order to customer care.
Option B – Product Number
Honeywell has created 15,000 Product Numbers that represent the majority of your damper orders. You can use the new Product Numbers to place an order from customer care.
The table on the next page (SMART Product Number Methodology) can be used to identify your damper configuration based on a set of features.
