Excelon is an invaluable tool for everyone who works with LONWORKS® networks.  It saves money and time through fast problem detection, while its enhanced problem-identification increases the quality of LONWORKS installations. Visitors to the web site can view a full description with typical graphics, download the software free of charge to enjoy its functionality in demo mode and then order the license key to unlock their installation to reap the benefits of its full functionality. 

Honeywell Excelon is very easy to use: anyone with LONWORKS® knowledge can use it without additional training.  Its well-structured user interface displays all LONWORKS® data in one integrated customizable view.  With Excelon, system integrators and developers can view, evaluate, and edit the network variable (NV) values of the nodes in a domain without having to commission them first.  This saves time by providing an early check that nodes will function properly within the network.  Users can identify all the nodes in a domain or test how the nodes interact under different conditions.  Wrong bindings are easily identified.

Existing LONWORKS® networks can be analysed to modify nodes, view and command NVs.  Enhanced filters enable users to find relevant part of the protocol quickly and conveniently.  Network traffic is shown, so users review communication quality and single out nodes contributing to high bus loads.

Excelon works with the standard PCC 10 or PCLTA 10/20 Lon network adapter.  No special hardware needed so users always have the necessary hardware with them.  It runs on PCs with Pentium 133 or better (Pentium 333 recommended) running Microsoft® Windows 98/ME/Windows 2000/XP, with at least 1024x768 graphics 32MB RAM (128 MB recommended) and 50MB free disk space (100 MB recommended).
